When visiting Kakadu be sure to stop in at the Marrawuddi Arts & Culture Centre in Jabiru.  Marrawuddi is a not-for-profit art centre housed in the repurposed Jabiru Bakery.  Each year it welcomes visitors from around the globe from large tour groups to the self drive tourists and locals.

As an art centre owned and governed by the Mirarr Traditional Owners, our mission is to support artists from diverse disciplines, including painting, screen-printing, weaving, photography, and sculpture. We proudly offer a dedicated studio workspace, allowing artists to immerse themselves in their creative process.

Marrawuddi takes pride in their ethical approach to purchasing Aboriginal Art and recognises its utmost importance.  Members of the Indigenous Art Code and ANKA (Arnhem, Northern and Kimberley Artists), they advocate for and support Artists across Northern Australia.  They encourage visitors in making responsible shopping choices, and they provide a guide to ethical purchasing here.

Marrawuddi is a Vibrant Aboriginal Art Centre and Gallery, governed and owned by the Mirarr Traditional Owners of Kakadu National Park.  The Arts & Cultural Centre showcases authentic Aboriginal art  from across Kakadu and West Arnhemland and engages with over 500 artists.

You will find different arts such as painting, screen-printing, weaving, sculpture and photography.  The Centre also has it’s own cafe which is run 7 days a  week, serving barista made coffee for visitors to enjoy while enjoying the gallery.

Marrawuddi is the Kundjeymi work for White Belly Sea-Eagle, a bird found around Kakadu & West Arnhem Land.
