Day 1: Darwin to Kakadu National Park
We begin our adventure bright and early, departing Darwin at 6:30 am. Heading east along the Arnhem Highway, we’re quickly greeted by vast floodplains stretching to the horizon. After crossing the Adelaide River, we continue on to the Mary River and Corroboree Billabong, home to the highest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world. On a thrilling, hour-long cruise, your expert guide will point out these impressive Saltwater Crocodiles in their natural habitat, while also highlighting the rich diversity of birdlife in the region. This wildlife tour through the Mary River wetlands offers a unique opportunity to observe both crocodiles and a wide variety of native birds. Lunch & Dinner Included.
Next, we’ll arrive at Kakadu National Park, where we’ll head to Cahill’s Crossing on the East Alligator River for a hearty lunch. Afterward, we visit Ubirr, renowned for its exceptional examples of ancient rock art, some of the finest in Northern Australia. A short hike will lead us to the top of Ubirr Rock, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views over the Nardab Floodplains, the East Alligator River, and Arnhem Land. We’ll spend the night at our exclusive camp in Jabiru, Kakadu’s ‘capital city.’

Next, we’ll drive to Bukbukluk Lookout for a brief walk through the woodlands, taking in the views. Our final stop in Kakadu is Ikoymarrwa (Moline Rockhole), a special permit area that showcases another stunning waterhole, offering a more intimate and peaceful experience.
In the afternoon, we leave Kakadu and head toward Nitmiluk National Park, home to the majestic Katherine River. We’ll enjoy a stunning sunset over the river before settling into camp for the night. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included.
