Charles Darwin Sunset Buffet Dinner Cruise

The Charles Darwin Sunset Buffet Dinner Cruise is a great way to get a bird’s eye view of the famous Darwin sunset whilst enjoying a delicious Territory style buffet with Australian seafood and local produce all in air-conditioned comfort.  This two & half hour cruise on the ‘Charles Darwin’s’ Captain’s Deck (main Deck) offers the best value for money dinner cruise on Darwin harbour. This sunset cruise is the perfect way to feed the family and enjoy the scenery.

6pm to 8pm daily May to mid December, subject to minimum numbers. Boarding Commences at Stokes Hill Wharf from 5.30 pm.

‘Charles Darwin’

The ‘Charles Darwin’ is a steel-hulled tri-level catamaran originally named Shangri-La Princess.

Built in Adelaide in 1990 for the Stannard family, a well-known name in the boating industry.

‘Charles Darwin’ was built for use on the Gold Coast “Broadwater” taking passengers from Surfer’s Paradise to the Shangri-La resort on Stradbroke Island

After many years’ service, two further owners and two name changes, she became part of Darwin Harbour Cruises family in April 2010. After extensive re-build and refurbishment in Brisbane, she sailed for Darwin as the ‘Charles Darwin’ in August 2010.
