Explore Kakadu National Park like never before with our Seasonal Guided Program, led by knowledgeable Bininj/Mungguy guides. From May 29th to October 4th, 2024, immerse yourself in the rich Aboriginal Country and Culture while discovering the breath taking landscapes of Kakadu.
Our guided activities offer a unique opportunity to connect deeply with the land and its people. Delve into the vibrant traditions of the Bininj/Mungguy as you participate in various enriching experiences:
- Artistic Immersion: Spend time with local artists mastering the techniques of painting and weaving, gaining insight into ancient artistic traditions.
- Ecological Exploration: Journey to Kakadu’s serene billabongs to learn about the diverse habitats and indigenous foods that sustain this remarkable ecosystem.
- Cultural Discovery: Embark on an exploration of ancient rock art sites, delving into the profound history of one of the world’s oldest continuing cultures.
For each specific activity, we provide handy hints to enhance your experience:
- Art Site Talks and Guided Walks: Prepare with essentials like water (one litre per hour, per person), sun protection, comfortable footwear, and gear for capturing memories.
- Cultural Activities: Bring along a chair or groundsheet for comfort, along with insect repellent and your camera (with permission to photograph).
Please be aware that while we strive to maintain a consistent and valuable program, unforeseen circumstances may lead to tour cancellations or rescheduling. In such instances, all affected bookings will receive prompt notification via email.
