CAUTION: ROAD SURFACE – ARNHEM HIGHWAY
Jabiru Police are asking drivers to take care on the Arnhem Highway approximately 20km west of Jabiru, where the road surface has deteriorated.
The Department of Infrastructure (DOI) says a traffic management crew is on the way to the site now (as at 3.10pm today) to put caution signage in place.
Meanwhile, we ask that drivers take care when travelling in the area, about halfway between Jabiru and South Alligator River.
DOI will undertake interim road repairs prior to the Easter break will complete major maintenance after Easter.
